On October 8, 2012, Mr. Paul Dacyk of Vilna passed away suddenly at the age of 92 years. He is survived by 2 sons & 5 daughters, Joan (Nestor) Sorobey, Shirley Dacyk, David (Carol) Dacyk, Reg (Diane) Dacyk, Brenda (Allen) Plandowski, Theresa Dacyk (Scott Stewart) & Tamara (Brent) Joly; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Nick (Marian); numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Sadie in 2005; infant daughter, Marianne; parents, Semen & Hanka; 4 brothers, Peter, Steve, Metro & John; & sister, Mary (John) Tchir. Prayer Service Thursday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre, Vilna. Funeral Service Friday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre, Vilna. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie officiating, with interment in St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Vilna.
