On November 23, 2025, Nicole “Kâ-kicimâkisit” Rochelle Jackson of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 32 years. She is survived by her children, Kaydrin & Catherine; mother, Carrie Half; father, Wayne Jackson; sisters, Raven (Trent) Half, Rae-Anna (Shayne) Stonehocker & Waskway Jackson; aunts, Elda Jackson & Grace Half; uncles, Ronald (Vivian) Jackson & Nathan Cardinal; grandfather, Joe (Rose) Quinney; grandmother, Gloria Half; numerous nieces, nephews & other relatives. Nicole was predeceased by her sister, Hyapatia Jackson; grandfather, Stanley Half; paternal grandparents, Lavina & Peter Jackson; great-grandparents, Catherine & Peter Cardinal; auntie, Wanda Jackson. A Wake will be held on Sunday, November 30 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Mannawanis Native Friendship Centre, St. Paul. A Traditional Funeral Service led by Elder, Murphy Cardinal, will be held on Monday, December 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Mannawanis Native Friendship Centre, St. Paul with interment in  Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
