On July 27, 2025, Nathan “Moomoo” Corey Steinhauer of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 47 years. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Cardinal Steinhauer; step-daughter, Jade (Adam) Cardinal; grandchildren, Kevia, Kai & Kennedy; siblings, Eleanor Steinhauer, Rita Ermineskin, Cary Wolfe, Janine (Leo) Patrick, Toni (Robert) Coutre & Sheena Giant; special nephew, Tyrese; special nieces, Sherri & Cianna; brothers- & sisters-in-law, Robert (Janey), Carolyn (Barry), Crystal, Priscilla (William), Beverly (Jonathon) & Melinda; step-dad, Henry Giant; mother-in-law, Christina Cardinal; adopted music parents, Clarence & Deb Patenaude; Desjarlais family, Sunday family, Sangrey family, Steinhauer family & Cardinal family; numerous other nieces, nephews, uncles & aunts. A Wake will be held on Thursday, July 31 (Leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Friday, August 1 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre. Pastor Linda Burns will be officiating with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
