On May 26, 2026, Nadine Rae Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 53 years. She is survived by her spouse, Lewis Romanovich; children, Veronica, Niki, Darryl, Tavis & Rave; grandchildren, Anaya, Zavian, Maleke, Arielle, Caelynn, Rogue & Kenai; mother, June Cardinal; siblings, Jamie, Trish, Melvin, Brenda, Geri & Trina; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Nadine was predeceased by her daughter, Savannah Cardinal; siblings, Denny Dion & Jason Redcrow; grandparents, William & Mary Makokis.  A Wake will be held on Monday & Tuesday, June 1 & 2 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.). Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
