On September 8, 2025, Mr. Mike Oryshchuk of Elk Point, passed away at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his special friend, Vivian Williams; sister, Katherine Shymkiw; sisters-in-law, Joyce Oryshchuk & Florence (Orest) Drobot; nieces & nephews, Tracy (Allan) Loughran, Blain (Sellena) Oryshchuk, Rebecca Jankovic & Deanna (Jonathan) Brady; great-nieces & nephews, Tyler (Kendra), Dylon (Jenna), Jarred (Sarah), Michael, Scott (Jasmine), Kelty, Jackson & Brydee-Lea; great-great-nieces, Lennyn, Rowyn, Josie & Blakelynn; numerous other nieces & nephews on Elsie’s side. Mike was predeceased by his wife, Elsie; parents, Peter & Annie Oryshchuk; brothers, James (Edna) & John; nephews, Blake Oryschuk & Nick Jankovic; mother & father-in-law, Mike & Helen Trach. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre (Pioneer Circle), Elk Point. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating with inurnment in Elk Point East Cemetery, Elk Point. Cremation has taken place.
