On August 18, 2012, Mrs. Melanie Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her children, David (Liz), Marie (Lorne), Lorraine (Peter), Evelyn (Adelard), Ronald (Leona), Richard (Betty Ann), Sarah, Loren (Lena), Doreen (Bryan), Roger, George (Cecilia), Dora Snow, Ira & Lonny (Charity); 42 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard; grandchildren, Vance, Larson, Noel, Penny, Faith, Tyran, Jordana, Ellis & 6 babies in infancy; siblings, Eva, Albert, Peter, Maggie, Stanley, Clarence, Moses & Pat. A Wake will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, August 21 & 22 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Giant officiating with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
