On May 19, 2012, Mrs. Mary Ida Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 83 years. She is survived by 1 son & 5 daughters, Delia Cardinal & Vera (Keith) Cardinal-Lapatac all of Saddle lake, Donald Cardinal of St. Paul, Donna (Jarrod) Cardinal, Theresa (Josh) Cardinal & Maureen Cardinal all of Saddle Lake; 21 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers & 6 sisters, Violet Whiskeyjack of Saddle Lake, Albert Whiskeyjack of Red Deer, Josephine Cardinal & Alex Whiskeyjack both of Saddle Lake, Theresa Sapp of Little Pine, SK, Agnes Semaganis of Poundmaker, SK, Eliza Paskemin of Sweet Grass, SK, & Annie Cryer of Saddle Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Arthur; parents, Milan & Amelia; 2 sons, Michael & Gerald; grandchildren, Levi, Lenore, Tenille & Kenneth; great-grandchildren, Jordana, baby Robin & Baby Warren. A Wake will be held on Wednesday & Thursday, May 23 & 24 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
