On August 7, 2026, Margaret Ella White of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her special friend, Terry Gladue; children, Victoria, Julian Jr. (Charlene), Mary Rose, Velma (Buddy), Eileen, Elaine, Larry (Heather), David (Shanda) Kakeesim, Robyn Quinn, Sheldon Quinn & Shalayna Shirt; son-in-law, Peter Ali; 50 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Mabel) Shirt, Kenneth Shirt, Harrison (Cheryl) Shirt, Barbara (Peter) Bull, Victoria Wahsatnow, Dorothy Shirt, Violet Shirt & Bella Shirt; aunty, Rita Steinhauer; numerous sisters & brothers-in-law as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family & friends. Margaret was predeceased by the father of her children, Julian White Sr.; children, Ann Marie, Marina (Waldren), Beverly & Robert in infancy; siblings, Lawrence Shirt, Alex Shirt, Herbert Shirt & Emma Shirt; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; parents, Mary & Peter Shirt; in-laws, Michael & Velma White, grandmother, Marie Steinhauer; & grandparents, Bella & Joshua Shirt. A Wake will be held on Sunday, August 16 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Monday, August 17 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
