On July 5, 2025, Louise Large of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 67 years. She is survived by her loving life partner, Ross Bull; children, Brendan “James” Large, Desmond (Tessa) Bull & Redmond Bull; grandchildren, Lakota, Desirae, Jonte, Ashlynn, Alexi, Peyasu, Mackenzie, Markus, Denzel, Markelle, Maverick, Vannay, Alkohta, Marley, Daymond & Love; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Pisim & Heaven-Leigh; siblings, Gary White (Rebecca), Kelly White, Marion White, Roland (Lisa) White, Gloria White, Bonnie White, Leona White & Tracy White; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Louise was predeceased by her daughter, Amanda Large; grandchild, Eagle Boy Starchief; parents, Jean-Marie “John” Steinhauer & Ernestine Large; in-laws, Walter & Lucy Bull; brother, Tony Steinhauer; uncles, Lawrence Large, Simon Large & Mike Steinhauer. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, July 8 (leaving Grace Gardens at 12:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 9 at 12:00 p.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre with interment in Red Bear Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
