Louise Marie Derksen

On May 9, 2011, Mrs. Louise Derksen of Glendon, formerly of Richmond, B.C., passed away at the age of 72 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Walter, of 52 years; 2 sons & 3 daughters, David Derksen of Fort Nelson, B.C., Sharon (Brian) Johnson of Glendon, Murray (Gillian) Derksen of Surrey, B.C., Darlene (Jack Moreno) Derksen of Calgary & Mary Jo Derksen of Richmond, B.C.; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 6 brothers & 6 sisters, Rudy (Suzanne), Ben (Erna), Margaret (Peter), Waldo (Lorna), Frieda (Aron), Helen (Jake), Eva (Abe), Erma (Glenn), Dan (Virginia), John (Rita), Viola (Ben) & Vern (Gail). She was predeceased by her daughter, Rosella; brother, Henry, parents, David & Mary Thiessen; & sister-in-law, Alda. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Glendon Seniors Centre, Glendon. Pastor John Thiessen & Pastor Clayton Mutch officiated with cremation to follow.
