On January 31, 2012 Mr. Louis Dion of Saddle Lake, formerly of Kehewin, passed away at the age of 28 years. He is survived by his companion, Candace Chipaway; son, Payton Crane; daughter, Venea Chekosis; adopted dad, Darrell (Victoria) Brertton; brothers & sisters, Stacy (Shawnee) Dion, Isabelle (Larry McGilvery) Dion, Leona (Jacob) Nason, Amby Quinney, Amory (Christa) Oxebin, Travis (Lenore) Oxebin, Gregory Thomas, Melanie, Maggie (Sean Moosewah) Cardinal, Tiffany Cardinal & Crystal Houle; kokom, Bella Dion; aunties, Josephine Mountain & Hazel Desjarlais; uncles, Thomas (Helen) Belly, Peter (Esther) Dion, Henry (Mildred) Cardinal, Louis (Marie) Salteaux & Ernie Dion; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul Belly & Brenda Dion; mosom, Billy Dion; paternal grandparents, Joe (Annie) Belly; uncle Gerald Dion; aunties, Philomen Faithful & Annabelle Belly. Wake Monday & Tuesday, February 6 & 7 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Real Levasseur will be the celebrant, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
