BRERTTON, LINDSAY
On July 16, 2011, Mr. Lindsay Brertton of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his loving companion, Wanita Cardinal; 2 sons & 4 daughters, Craig (Carey) Auger, Corinne (Blackie) Ward, Delaney (Clayton) Cardinal, Kelly (Rhonda) Crane, Ginger Crane & Joleen Crane; step-son, Jordan Cardinal; daughter-in-law, Tanya Southerland; 35 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers & 3 sisters, Rita (Austin) Quinney, Raymond Brertton, Georgina Moses, Bertha (Roland) Jackson, Michael Whitford, Brian Large & Billy Wapass (adopted brother); special friends, Mike Moosewah, Larry Brertton & Darrel Brertton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William & Matilda; son, Eli Crane; 2 grandchildren, Michael & Chantel; 2 brothers, Tony & Emil; 2 sisters, Bella & Vera. A Wake was held on Wednesday & Thursday, July 20 & 21 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Wright officiated with interment in the United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
