On July 5, 2012, Mr. Lester Wood of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie of 30 years; his children, Orrie Wood of Saddle Lake, Todd Matchatis of Edmonton, Robin Matchatis of Cold Lake, April (Carl) Matchatis of Edmonton, Cory Wood of Saddle Lake, Samantha Wood & Heather Wood both of Edmonton, Shayna (Gary) Piche of Abbotsford, B.C. & Lorelei (Clinton Cardinal) Sangrey of Edmonton; 20 grandchildren; brother, Keith (Joyce) Wood of Saddle Lake; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman & Sophie. A Wake will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, July 10 & 11 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
