Lena Telenko

On November 28, 2025, Mrs. Lena Telenko of Vilna (Stry), Alberta passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her Godchildren, Stephanie English & Peter Tkachuk; brother, Bill Borosiuk. Mrs. Telenko was predeceased by her husband, Steve; parents, Metro & Ruth; siblings, Nick Borosiuk, Helen Zotek, Jean Ongurian & MaryAnn Palamarek. Lena was a devoted farm wife for most of her life and was known for having a big heart. Thank you to doctors, nurses & staff at Sunny Side Manor, St. Paul, Elk Point Heritage Lodge, Good Samaritan Lodge, Edmonton & Extendicare Eaux Claires, Edmonton, for the wonderful care she received. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel. Reverend Father Evan Panchuk will be officiating with interment in Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Stry.
