On January 6, 2012, Mr. Lawson Collins of Kikino passed away at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Louisa of 48 years; 4 sons & 6 daughters, Robert (Violet) Parke of Pinehouse Lake, Saskatchewan, Freda (Gilbert Cherrett) Collins of Boyne Lake, Linda (Darrell Littlechilds) Collins of Fort McMurray, Shirley Collins of Kikino, Gabe (Rose) Collins of Saddle Lake, Jerry (Theresa Cardinal) Collins of Lac La Biche, Sherrie (Martin) Poitras of St. Paul, Jeanie (Shawn) Santalucia of Kikino, Peggy (Darren) Poitras of St. Paul & Harold Jackson of Edmonton; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; adopted brothers & sisters, Connie Jacknife, Wilma Jacknife, John (Irene) Stanley & Clifford Jacknife; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Collins was predeceased by 1 son, Kelvin Collins; his parents, George & Alice; 2 sisters, Lottie & Pearl; 2 brothers, Milo & Robert. A Wake will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, January 10 & 11 at Lawsons home in Kikino. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Goodfish Lake United Church, Goodfish Lake. Reverend Robert Wright officiating with interment in Goodfish Lake Protestant Cemetery, Goodfish Lake.
