Kimowan Metchewais Obituary

On July 29, 2011, Mr. Kimowan Metchewais Kim McLain of Cold Lake First Nations passed away at the age of 47 years. He is survived by his mother, Ada Metchewais of St. Paul; 4 brothers, Luther McLain of Calgary, George McLain of Coeur dAlene, Washington, Hans McLain & Dana (Shyla) Mueller both of Calgary; brothers & sisters, Vi Manywounds, Conrad, Molly & Marlon Metchewais; aunties & uncles; Jobby, Roseanne, Sam & Leona Auntie Lee Metchewais; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues & students; friend, Antje Thiessen. He was predeceased by his brother, Sheldon McLain; sister, Wanda Metchewais; grandparents, Alexander (1992) & Theresa (1991) Metchewais; aunts & uncles, Jim, Agnes, Joles Lawrence, Edna & Lorraine. A Wake will be held Sunday, July 31 & Monday, August 1 at Cold Lake First Nations Band Hall, Cold Lake First Nations. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations.
