On January 10, 2026, Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Axel Nielsen of Elk Point, Alberta passed away at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Barbara; sons, Larry (Connie) & Murry (Lisa); grandchildren, Jessica (Scott) Else, Hilary (Brad) Holinaty, Erica O’Callaghan & Kyle (Lauren) Nielsen; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Oliver, Nevaeh, Nixon, Keely, Camryn, Theo & Coen; brother, Bert Nielsen; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Axel & Rose Nielsen; siblings, Louise, Nancy, Ron & John. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at a later date (contact Murry Nielsen).
