On October 4, 2011, Ms. Judy-Anne Yellowknee of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 64 years. She is survived by her best friend & companion, Gordon McGilvery; sons & daughters, Connie (Leonce Robichaud) Yellowknee, Lisa Yellowknee, Gerry Kirk Yellowknee, Warren (Lucy) Yellowknee all of Wabasca, Peter (Beatrice Harper) McGilvery of Onion Lake, Doris (Ralph) Benson of Elk Point, Alvina McGilvery of Edmonton, Leanne (Garry) Louis & Ira (Andrea) McGilvery all of Hobbema, Miranda (Ken) Delver of Saddle Lake & Gordon Jr. McGilvery of Elk Point; 9 grandchildren, Kimberly Yellowknee (William Chalifoux), Natasha Yellowknee, Cody (Heather) Yellowknee, Josh Yellowknee, Lynette Yellowknee, Korak Yellowknee, Chris Yellowknee, Jarred Yellowknee & Riddick Yellowknee; 4 great-grandchildren, Memphis Ace Yellowknee Gambler, Jason Chalifoux, Jessa Chalifoux & Joshua Chalifoux; her father, John D. Nanemahoo; brothers & sisters, Virginia (Roger) Cardinal, Joan Nanemahoo, Cecile Nanemahoo, Jean Corrigan, Brenda (Paul) Nanemahoo, Dorothy Nanemahoo, William Nanemahoo, Cameron Nanemahoo & Elmer Nanemahoo; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predceased by her mother, Barbara; 2 brothers, Robert & George; 1 grandchild, Deidre Danielle Yellowknee (D.D.). A wake will be held on Sunday, October 9, at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake; Monday, October 10 at Wabasca Community Hall, Wabasca. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Wabasca Community Hall, Wabasca.
