On May 10, 2026, Joanne Jane Marie Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 63 years. She is survived by her children, Tony & Amy (Darius); grandchildren, Tyrell, Riel, T.J., Carter, Carson & Amya Marie Cardinal; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Len, Eugene, Noel & Virginia Cardinal, Darlene Johnson, Patsy Louis & Robbie Moosewah; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Joanne was predeceased by her son, Ryan; mother, Mary Louise Cardinal; siblings, Willard, Michael & Kenny; grandparents, Alex & Lavina Moosewah. A Wake will be held on Sunday & Monday, May 17 & May 18 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.). Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
