Jennie Cardinal

On May 20, 2012, Mrs. Jennie Cardinal of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by 3 daughters & 2 sons, Arlene Samson of Hobbema, Noreen Cardinal (Alfred Houle), Wendy Cardinal (Joe Houle) & Leslie (Marilyn) Cardinal all of Goodfish Lake, & Leon (Julia) Cardinal of Bonnyville; 5 grandchildren she raised, Ellen Brighteyes, Jennie Cardinal, Sheila Cardinal, Darren Cardinal & Frank Whitford; 33 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Whitford of Goodfish Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank in 1997; 5 children, Clifford, Wayne, Chester, Rema & infant baby girl; 4 grandchildren, Kirk Samson, Calvin Cardinal, Chad Cardinal & Tanya Houle; sister, Edith Whitford; brother, Jeffries Bull; & best friends, Olive McConnell & Mary Shirt. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, May 24 & 25 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 26 at St. Mathias Roman Catholic Church, Goodfish Lake. Reverend Father E.
