Jean Henri Martin

On May 6, 2011, Mr. Jean Martin of Mallaig passed away at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Monique; 2 sons & 6 daughters, Paulette (Henri) Amyotte of Mallaig, Denis (Aline) of Mallaig, Simone (Bernie) Lapointe of Beaumont, Gisele (Larry) Podloski of St. Albert, Roberta (Marc) Dallaire of Mallaig, Lori (Roy) Jacura of St. Paul, Nicole (Creighton) Martin of Mallaig, Marc (Karol) of Mallaig; 31 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 brother & 4 sisters, Gerald (Antoinette), Therese (Emile) Brochu, Adrienne (George) Phillips, Ghislaine Langevin, Sr. Herma Martin all of Edmonton; 1 sister-in-law, Lorraine Martin of Edmonton; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by 1 son, Robert; his parents, Parfait & Emilienne; 1 brother, Andre. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Jean-de-Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, Mallaig. Reverend Father Dario Abram will be the celebrant followed by a private graveside service. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30s c/o Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0.
