On March 12, 2012, Mr. Ivan Waskahat of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 63 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna; 2 sons & 8 daughters, Geraldine (Steve), Eunice (Steven), Vicki (Clifford), Dina (Lorne), Abigail (Chris) Abraham, Kathy (Jerry), Alberta Tepakoop, Lawanda (Bobby), Alex & Nigel; 22 grandchildren, Lynette, Jasmine, Seneca, Charles, Geoffrey, Alexandria, Janine, Nina, Taneda, Phoenicia, Reyon, Reyvon, Reylee, Aubri, Rachel, Faydra, Jeremy, Avery, Keara, Terrance, Sam & Jessie; 1 great-grandson, Okemow Kehew; 3 brothers, Donald Jinx, Raynie & Ricky; sister, Velma; blood brother, Thomas (Agnes) Abraham; numerous nieces & nephews. . He was predeceased by his parents, Alex & Theresa Waskahat; brother, Ronald, 4 sisters, Alma, Gladys, Irene & Mary Anne; grandson, River; granddaughter, Ka-mau-tapoo; his paternal grandparents, Archie & Agnes Waskahat; maternal grandparents, Chief Morningchild & Kina-mau-skew; uncles, Lloyd, Dave, Joe & Pete; & auntie, Edna. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, March 17 & 18 at Frog Lake Career Centre, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Frog Lake Career Centre, Frog Lake. Wilfred Cross will officiate with interment in Clearwater Lake Cemetery, Frog Lake.
