On June 1, 2012, Mr. Harrison Steinhauer of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, of 50 years; 2 sons & 4 daughters, Karen Cardinal & Marina (Floyd Cardinal) Steinhauer all of Saddle Lake, Elston (Ruth) Steinhauer of High Level, Valerie (Glenn Erickson) Steinhauer of Saddle Lake, Isabelle (Jack Powder) Steinhauer of St. Albert & James Steinhauer of Saddle Lake; 4 adopted children, Marvin Morningchild of Loon Lake, SK, Charlie Crowchild of Calgary, Ron Stone & Constance Dreaver both of Saddle Lake; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mildred Lapatac of Saddle Lake, Rose Anderson of Fishing Lake & Flora Jane Steinhauer of Enoch; sister-in-law, Paula Steinhauer of Saddle Lake; auntie, Eva Cardinal of Saddle Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. Harrison was predeceased by his parents, William & Justine Steinhauer; 2 sons, Calvin & Vance Steinhauer; brother, Henry Steinhauer; sister, Celina McGilvery; great-grandchild, Baby Aiden; parents-in-law, David & Eva Hunter. A Wake will be held on Monday & Tuesday, June 4 & 5 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service Wednesday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
