On December 9, 2011, Mr. Harold Brereton of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Bernice of 50 years; 3 daughters & 2 sons, Darlene (Gary) Brereton-Cardinal, Gerald (Phyllis) Brereton, Bonnie (Kevin) Brereton, Bella (Derek) Brereton-Erasmus & Kevin (Janice) Brereton; grandchildren he raised as children, Samantha Brereton, Clareece Brereton, Tamara Brereton & Clarence Brereton; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson & 1 on the way; 3 brothers & 1 sister, Edward Brertton (Susan Jackson), Brian Large; Raymond Brertton, Linda Clark; special aunts, Eva Favel & Florence Large; numerous nieces, nephews, friends & relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward & Bella; daughter, Doreen Steinhauer; 3 sisters, Mina Whiskeyjack, Myrtle Barlad & Muriel Quinney; grandparents, John & Caroline Brertton; son-in-law, Robert Erasmus. Visitation of Family & Friends Monday, December 12 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Wake Tuesday, December 13 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service Wednesday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Wright officiating with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
