On December 26, 2025, Ms. Gwyneth “Baby Girl” Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 25 years. She is survived by her son, Grayson; mother, Tamara Cardinal; father, Russell Moosewah; siblings, Tianna (Sonny), Pierce (Taneisha) & Jordyn; Godparents, Jennifer & Hector Courtoreille; nieces, Alyxia, Alyanna & Ayla; uncle, Leith (Kirsten) Cardinal; aunts, Demetria Cardinal, Laurie Moosewah & Penny Moosewah; numerous other relatives & friends. Gwyneth was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Allan D. Cardinal & Sharon Buffalo; paternal grandparents, Darrell Cardinal & Christine Moosewah; brother, Brody Cardinal; uncles, Calvin Moosewah & Daryl Moosewah; auntie, Angela Ross; best friend, Rosie. A Wake will be held on Monday, December 29 (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Tuesday, December 30 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
