On May 2, 2025, Mr. Gregory Jackson of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 62 years. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Steinhauer & Keisha Potts; 2 grandchildren, Joseph & Claire; numerous great-grandchildren; common-law-spouse, Leeanne Fontaine; mother of Melissa, Linda Steinhauer; mother of Keisha, Sheila Potts; siblings, Karen R. Jackson, Elaine Jackson, Vivian (Donald) Wirth, Kevin Jackson, Edith Jackson, Mavis Jackson (Conrad Whiskeyjack), Deanna Delver, Andrea Jackson, Jennifer Jackson & Lenora Jackson; favorite niece, Jesse-Joe Jackson; auntie, Lucille Hackett; numerous aunts, uncles, chapans, nieces & nephews. Gregory was predeceased by his parents, Carmen & Flora Jackson; son, Joseph Kelly Steinhauer; brothers, Gordon & Lester Jackson; nieces, Toni-Lynn Jackson, Sherisse Saddleback & Caseyia Cardinal; nephews, Conrad “Bugzy” Whiskeyjack Jr. &  Lindsay Jackson; Baby Chapon; neestow, Shaun Singer. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, May 6 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) & Wednesday, May 7 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre. Dr. Velma White will be officiating with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
