Gordon Poitras

On December 16, 2011, Mr. Gordon Poitras of Edmonton passed away at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey of 45 years; son, Robert (Therese) of Elk Point; 2 grandchildren, Cody-James & Kaitlin; sister, Doreen Hays of Edmonton; 4 brothers, Ernest (Marie), Willie (Val), Clarence (Betty) & Bernie (Fay) all of Elk Point; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter & Margaret. A Wake will be held on Thursday, December 22 at Allied Arts & Leisure Centre, Elk Point. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Allied Arts & Leisure Centre, Elk Point. Reverend Father Jim Holland O.M.I. will be the celebrant with interment in Elk Point East Cemetery, Elk Point. If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association c/o Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0.
