Gilberte Guilbault

On December 23, 2025, Gilberte Alvina Guilbault (nee Vallee) of St. Paul, formerly from Mallaig, AB passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. Gilberte was born on September 3, 1934 in St. Paul, Alberta and was the 5th child in a family of seven children.  

Gilberte is survived by her 7 children, Raymond (Cindy) of Mallaig, Real (Debbie) of Colinton, Joanne (Paul) Gervais of St. Albert, Andre (Irene) of Wainwright, Jocelyn (Art) Gervais of Fahler, Cecile (Gerald) Mathiot of Goodridge & Janet (Glen) Dumont of Fahler;  24 grandchildren & 21 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; sister, Marguerite Rose (Walter) Ozero; brother-in-law, Eddie Gratton; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Rene (2014); parents, Emile & Berthe (nee Malo) Vallee; brothers, Rene & Armand; sisters, Germaine Charbonneau, Therese Gratton & Laurette Hall; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Lillian Vallee, Rose Vallee, Phillippe Charbonneau & Clayton Hall; & son-in-law, Emil Starosielski.

Cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will be held at a later date.
