Genevieve Steinhauer

On June 28, 2025, Mrs. Genevieve Steinhauer of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her children, Noella (West), Patricia, William (Denise) & Victoria; adopted children, McGilvery brothers; 6 grandchildren, Aaron, Sarah, Alana, Keyano, Brandon & Tamara; 8 great-grandchildren, Nicole, Emma, Valen, Valeiah, Calen, Chance, Constance & Calvin; god-son, Joseph Cardinal; siblings, Eva Cardinal, Carl Quinn & Reuben Quinn; numerous nieces & nephews; special friends & relatives, Florence Quinn, Theresa Gladue, Irene Pelech, Emma Jacknife, Bernadette Dumais, Memnook sisters, Earlene Cardinal,  Eric J. Large, Hillside Lodge staff & many others. Mrs. Steinhauer was predeceased by her husband, Walter; daughter, Cheryl; grandson, Dallas; & baby April Dawn. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, July 1 (leaving Grace Gardens at 4:00 p.m.) at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
