Florence Large-Yaholnitsky

On May 13, 2025, Florence Yaholnitsky of Calgary, formerly of Saddle Lake, Alberta, passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her loving children, Virginia (Gord) Hager, Mavis (Rob) Da Silva, Brian Large, Cameron (Cynthia) Mason, Orest Yaholnitsky; son-in-law, Larry Dodd; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends in Calgary. Florence was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Ozar Ernest “Ernie” Yaholnitsky; son, Kevin Curtis Yaholnitsky; daughters, Charlene Emma (Large) Shirt and Sonia Velma Dodd (Natawohkoto Kakiii – Holy Rock Woman). A Wake will be held on Thursday, May 22 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Friday, May 23 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
