On May 8, 2025, Evelyn Reiter of Elk point, Alberta formerly of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon; son-in-law, Bill McLaren; 2 grandchildren, Kari (Ross) Hintze & Trevor (Trish) McLaren; 4 great-grandchildren, Kelsey (Matt), Isaac, Austin (Lindsey) & Bailey (Sean); 3 great-great-grandchildren, Kitt, Joey & Elodie; sisters, Norma Bolokoski & Theresa Marsolais; close family friend, Glen Harper; special friend, Donna Krider; numerous other relatives & friends. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Adam; daughter, Margaret McLaren; grandson, Jeff Reiter; parents, John & Florence Damberger; brothers, Cliff, Harvey & Walter Damberger; brothers-in-law, John Bolokoski & Lucien Marsolais; sisters-in-law, Marielle & Doris Damberger. The family will be hosting a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre (Pioneer Circle), Elk Point. Pastor Payton Drobot will be officiating with interment in Rife & District Cemetery, Rife.
