Etna Marie Guinup

Mrs. Etna Marie Guinup Cookie Grandma of Mallaig has gone to join her Heavenly Father & her husband Claude in Heaven 12 days before her 90th birthday. She is survived by her loving 2 sons & 5 daughters, Freda (Richard) Pytel of Fort St. John, B.C., Claudette (Keith) Scott of Nakusp, B.C., Linda (Norman) Woroschuk of Edmonton, Stella (Brian) Callender of Sherwood Park, Wanda (Jess) Fithen of Peace River, Perry (Betty) Guinup of Mallaig & Raymond (Vivian) Guinup of Mallaig; special daughter, Bonnie (Brian) Friend of Calgary; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother & 2 sisters, George (Marg) Denning of Ocean Park, Washington, Sally Iversen of Creston, B.C. & Izola Picard of Maple Ridge, B.C.; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude; grandson, Rick Pytel; parents, Fred & Marie Denning; brother, Roy Denning; & sister, Alice Guinup. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the doctors and Second Floor Staff at St. Therese Hospital, St. Paul, for their compassionate care; also to the very special friends, Dorette Copeland & Irene Pawlowski, who have always been there for Etna. Visitation of Family & Friends Thursday, January 5 from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Funeral Service Friday, January 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Mallaig Baptist Church, Mallaig, with viewing 1 hour prior. Pastor Joe Massop officiating with interment in the Church Cemetery.
