On August 22, 2012, Mr. Elmer Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 65 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Bernice A. Cardinal; 3 sons, Malcolm L. Cardinal, Scott E. Cardinal & Burke (Beatrice G.) Cardinal; 3 daughters, Kerry L. Cardinal, Sherry L. Cardinal & Lovanne L. Cardinal; adopted daughter, Lyric C. Cardinal (Brandon Watchmaker); 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eric (Margaret) Cardinal, Lillian (Murray) Mathews, Emelia Pasquayak, Vivian Cardinal-Roller, Raymond G. Cardinal, Nelson C. Cardinal, Anita Green & Mavis V. Cardinal. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred & Eliza Cardinal; siblings, Morris Cardinal, Elizabeth Janvier, Collin Cardinal, Beaver Cardinal & Randy Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, August 28 & 29 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
