On July 22, 2026, Edgar “Jinx” Donald Waskahat of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Frog Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 67 years. He is survived by his children, Alex Waskahat, Ryan Cardinal & Devon Waskahat; sister, Velma Waskahat; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Edgar was predeceased by his son, Travis; parents, Alex & Theresa, siblings, Alma, Ivan, Gladys, Irene, Maryanne, Ronald, Raynie & Ricky. A Wake will be held on Sunday, July 26 at Norman C. Quinney Career Centre, Frog Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 12:00 p.m.). A Traditional Service will be held on Monday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C.
