With heavy hearts the family sadly announces the loss of their beloved son, brother, uncle & grandson. Dwayne Harley Jenkins passed away suddenly at Royal Alex Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on February 23, 2012 at the age of 45 years.
Dwayne was born on April 15, 1966 in Olds, Alberta. He spent his childhood years in Elk Point, Alberta. There he enjoyed hockey and Scouts. His teenage years were spent in Innisfail, Alberta. There he was given his nickname Perkins.
Dwayne is survived by his loving mother, Leona Durocher; grandmother, Margret Gladue; sister, Rhonda & niece, Mikala Jenkins; brother, Keith (Candace) & his very special nephew, Xavier. Dwayne was predeceased by his dad, Harley Jenkins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 1 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church in Fishing Lake, Alberta. Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger will be the celebrant . If desired, donations may be made to Boyle Street Community Centre or Midwest Outreach Centre – Lloydminster c/o Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0.
