Dorette Copeland

On June 13, 2026, Mrs. Dorette Copeland of Mallaig, AB, passed away at the age of 100 years. She is survived by her loving children, Steve (Ann), Philip (Kristin), Don (Sharon), Ruth Loudon & Russ (Treva); 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Freda Phillips & Ruth (Geleta) Haglund-Geleta; numerous nieces & nephews. Dorette was predeceased by her husband, Norman; parents, Enoch & Francis Haglund; 2 brothers, Wayne (Ellen) & Leslie (Gertrude); sister, Irene; & brother-in-law, Joe Phillips.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 19 at 1:30 p.m. at Mallaig Baptist Church, Mallaig. Pastor Owen Isaacson will be officiating with interment in the church cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the funeral will be live streamed through Dorette’s page on the Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel website. A recording of the service will also be available.
