On March 2, 2026, Dion Curtis Harris “Kaskitewew Muskwa” of Saddle Lake, Alberta, formerly of Pelican Lake, Saskatchewan, passed away at the age of 44 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa Quinney-Harris; children, Kahlan Harris & Sire Quinney-Harris; adopted daughter, Maliyah Cryer; granddaughter, Vina; mother, Lisa Harris; father, Allan Thomas; siblings, Lyle, Ryan, Laurisa, Jamilyn, Alana (Dwayne), Mike, Denny, Dwayne, Chantal, Chenille, Cherilyn, Henry, Kehiw, Cherry, James, Jeffery, Erickson & Erica; mother-in-law, Janice Cryer; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws & cousins. Dion was predeceased by his grandmothers, Gladys Dillon & Florence Ballentyne; grandfathers, Mike Thomas & Dick Harris; aunts, Louisa, Melinda & Alice; uncles, Earl, Raymond, Roland, Henry & Lawrence. A Wake will be held on Thursday, March 12 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:30 p.m.) at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake.
