Colton Schmelzeisen

On May 21, 2026, Colton Schmelzeisen of Glendon, Alberta passed away at the age of 18 years. He is survived by his loving parents, Cheryl & Andreas; sisters, Claudine Ballantyne (Dillon) & Sonja (Carson McDonald);  2 nieces, Elena & Evelyn & one on the way; girlfriend, Faith; best friend, Ben; grandparents, Harold & Fredda Ross,  Marie-Jean Schmelzeisen; great-grandmother, Gladys Parent. Colton was predeceased by his grandfather, Egon Schmelzeisen; nephew, Nikolai; & his cat, Oreo. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the RCMP Century Hall, Glendon. Pastor Terry Luciow will be officiating with inurnment in Arcadia Cemetery, Glendon. Cremation has taken place. The family invites anyone with a Challenger, Charger, classic car, or other special vehicle to attend the service and join the procession honouring Colton's love of cars.
