On September 22, 2025, Ms. Claire Didzena of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Saddle Lake, Alberta, passed away at the age of 35 years. She is survived by her siblings, Evelyn Whiskeyjack, Gregory Hunter & Arthur Didzena; nieces & nephews, Victor Cardinal, Sheldon, Katie & Louie Laboucan; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins & many relatives from Dena Tha First Nations. Claire was predeceased by her parents, Archie Cardinal & Mary Didzena; grandparents, Sylvester & Katie Cardinal, Jean Marie & Marguerite Didzena; sister, Katie Cardinal; brother, Winbert Didzena; niece, Kayla Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, October 8 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Thursday, October 9 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
