On May 27, 2011, Mrs. Christina Desjarlais of Fishing Lake passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her family, Bruce & Sophie Desjarlais, Kenny & Sandy Desjarlais, Clifford Desjarlais, Faye & Wilfred Desjarlais, Jack Desjarlais, Max & Darlene Desjarlais, Cyrus Desjarlais, Maxine Yvette Desjarlais, Marlene & Don Gormely & Muriel Cardinal; daughters-in-law, Grace Desjarlais & Helen Desjarlais; 39 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; brother, Norman Quinney; 3 sisters-in-law, Margaret Quinney, Irene Quinney & Marlene Ladjimodiere. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe; parents, Charles & Harriet; sons, William, Raymond & Elmer; daughter, Joanne; granddaughter, Maria; grandson, Jason Ryder; daughters-in-law, Judy Desjarlais, Laura Desjarlais, Velma Atcheynum & Rose (Chibis) Desjarlais; brothers, Thomas, John, Henry & Lawrence Quinney; & sisters, Eva Stone, Julia Hunter & Freda Whalen. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, May 31 & Wednesday, June 1 at Fishing Lake Communiplex, Fishing Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Fishing Lake Communiplex, Fishing Lake.
