On October 8, 2025, Mr. Byron Crane of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 42 years. He is survived by his mother, Bernice Crane; step-father, Jodi Marier; children, Brianna Crane, Byron Crane Jr., Brennen Crane, Braylin Crane, Liam Whitford-Crane & Deja Oxebin; grandson, Swaydenn Dillon; sisters, Kyla & Anna Crane; numerous other relatives & friends. Byron was predeceased by his father, Freddie Crane; brothers, Lyle, Victor & Lance Crane; maternal kokum, Harriet Moyah; paternal kokum, Lydia Crane; paternal mosom, Wilfred Crane. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, October 21 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, October 22 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
