On September 17, 2025, Mr. Bruce Desjarlais of Fishing Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his children, Bruce Stamp, Lindsey Stamp, Beverly Youngchief, Dale Youngchief (Cathy), Nadine Youngchief (Dylan) & Rodney John; grandchildren, Jesse, Anthony, Carter, Ryan, Olivia, Kayla, Coleman, Mya, Heidi, Candace & Noah; great-grandchildren, Emma, Alias, Brett & Brooks; siblings, Jean Desjarlais (Arlene), Max Desjarlais (Darlene), Cyrus Desjarlais & Yvette Desjarlais; Goddaughter, Nicole Durocher; brother-in-law, Donald (Sharon) Cross; sister-in-law, Alma Desjarlais; numerous other relatives & friends. Bruce was predeceased by his wife, Sophie Stamp; son, Leon Youngchief; granddaughters, Alyssa & Spring Rain; parents, Joe & Christina Desjarlais; siblings, Kenny Desjarlais, William, Faye, Clifford, Ray, Elmer & Joanne; brother-in-law, Albert Desjarlais; family friend, Sheamus Martin. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, September 23 (Leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, September 24 at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake.
