After a 3-year battle with ovarian cancer, Brangre Brousseau of Smoky Lake passed away peacefully at the age of 59, with her family by her side. Brangre will be forever loved and deeply missed by her husband of 40 years, Ernest; 4 daughters, Janna (Michael), Naomi (Ed), Rene (John) & Danielle (Brett); 8 grandchildren, Sarah, Olyanna, Thomas, Jacob, Aaric, Yannick, Malle & Zachary; 4 step-grandchildren, Greg (Amy), Janice, Aaron & Kyle; 6 great-grandchildren; her mother, Alice Bouchard; 10 brothers & sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. She was predeceased by her father, Henri. Brangres family wishes to thank everyone for all their kind words and time. Thank you to Dr. Anton Raubenheimer and all the nursing staff at the George McDougall Hospital, Cross Cancer Institute & Royal Alexandra Hospital for their wonderful care. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Smoky Lake Complex, Smoky Lake. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haying in the 30”s c/o Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0.
