Audrey Jean Headrick (nee Sather), aged 81, of St. Paul, Alberta, passed away on June 20, 2026, at Bruce, Alberta surrounded by loving family.
Born on February 25, 1945 in Canwood, Saskatchewan, Audrey married the love of her life, Wesley Trende Headrick on August 29, 1964 at Zion Lutheran Church in Canwood. The couple moved to Davis, Saskatchewan where they started their own family before relocating to Alberta in 1976, settling in St. Paul in 1979.
Audrey and Wesley shared many good years together enjoying music, camping and fishing, eventually spending their retirement years at their lake lot and winters as snowbirds in Arizona. Audrey valued her deep friendships, took great pleasure in all manner of arts and crafts, and was a master crocheter. She was particularly known for her specialty cinnamon buns which she baked and generously shared with family, friends, and neighbours.
She was predeceased by her husband Wesley, who passed away on March 24, 2022.
Audrey is survived by her daughter Janine (m. Dan), grandchildren Erin and Kristen; her son Blaine (m. Lisa), grandchildren Evan and Bailey; brothers- and sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a future date in St. Paul, Alberta where she lived the majority of her life and built many lasting friendships.
