Armand Laing

On May 2, 2012, Mr. Armand Laing of St. Paul passed away at the age of 77 years. He is survived by 4 daughters & 2 sons, Carmen (Ron) Oszust of Golden, B.C., Christine (Terry) Veenstra of Fort McMurray, Ginette (Steve) Talley of Fredericksburg, Texas, Jose (Allan) Lapp of Courtice, Ontario, Denis (Cristy) of Calgary, & Blair (Keely) of Bonnyville; very special friend, Adrienne Tessier of St. Paul; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers & 4 sisters, Georges (June), Jeannine (Adrien) Chamberland & Lorraine (Maurice) Dubeau all of St. Paul, Rose (Laurent) Leroux of Edmonton, Bernard (Alexis) of St. Albert, Gerard (Lani) of Okotoks, Denise (Ovide) Hebert of Edmonton, & Albert (Penny) of Hawkesbury, Ontario; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice; parents, Mendoza & Lucienne; granddaughter, Chantal; & 1 brother, Raymond. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Pauls Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pauls Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with cremation to follow. Inurnment will take place on Saturday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Josephs Cemetery, St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Palliative Care Association or Haying in the 30”s Cancer Support Society.
