On May 8, 2026, Andy Christopher Favel of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 30 years. He is survived by his parents, Shawna (Trevor) Nielsen, Sheldon (Liz) O’Soup, Hughie (Janice) Makokis; siblings, Sean, Tyrone, Amaya, Lela, Kyle (Lexi), Maddie, Heather (Chad), Tyler (Ashley), Cree (Colin), Zabrina, Karrisa, Hughie Jr., Jillian, Shanice, Josiah, Josanna, Thomas, Hanna & MorningDove; grandparents, Chris (Glenda) Favel, Barb & Hardy Nielsen; special aunts & uncles, Neil (Tracey), Rhonda (Stacey), Jen Koopmans, Myrna O’Soup & Melissa Steinhauer; special nephews, Deshawn & Darius Favel Howse; great nephew, Drayton Demerais; & numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. A Wake will be held on Wednesday & Thursday, May 20 & May 21 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.). Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Pastor Linda Burns will be officiating with cremation to follow.
