Amanda Rose Cardinal

On August 6, 2025, Amanda Rose Cardinal “wīcikō askew” of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 39 years. She is survived by her boyfriend, Shawn Gladue; daughters, Taliya, Clea & Shayla Cardinal; mother, Elaine Cardinal; siblings, Lucas, Jolene & Richelle (Ian) Cardinal, Shaylene & Shanika Littlechild; step-brothers, Brent, Lyle, Evan & Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Amanda was predeceased by her father, Alfred Quinney; siblings, Craig & Samantha Cardinal, Shanee “Charlie” Littlechild; cousins, Nigel & Arthur Cardinal; uncle, Alfred Cardinal; auntie, Pauline Cardinal; maternal grandparents, Angelique & Alphonse Cardinal; paternal grandparents, Rita (Austin) & Charlie Quinney. A Wake will be held on Monday, August 11 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake. Arthur Steinhauer, Andrea Steinhauer & Conrad Cardinal will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
