Aline Mailloux

Aline Annette Marie Mailloux (née Brault) passed away peacefully at her home in St. Paul on January 10, 2026, at the age of 76, surrounded by her family. 

Born on May 31, 1949, in St. Paul, Aline spent her early life rooted in the community she loved. She married the love of her life, Gary Edward Joseph Mailloux on August 24, 1968 and together they built a home filled with devotion, warmth, and love. Their marriage was the foundation of a family that meant everything to her.

Aline was a devoted wife and a remarkable mother to her three children: Angela Lorraine Marie, Anthony Edward Joseph, and Carol-Anne Marie. She was truly an earth angel—selfless, gentle, and endlessly giving—and the best mom and wife anyone could ever ask for. Her love was steady and unconditional, and her presence was a comfort to all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her loyal canine companion, Lucky; parents, Irene and Laurent Brault; siblings, Henriette, Henry, and Doris; her beloved granddaughter, Stacy Amanda; and her precious baby boy, Michael, who was born sleeping and never forgotten. 

Aline leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Gary; her cherished children, Angela, Anthony (Carmen), and Carol; her treasured grandchildren: Christopher, Kimberly, Sarah, Jessica, Nolan, Daelan, Jordan, Graham, Devon, Aurora, Kameron, and Noah; sisters, Cecile and Joanne; sisters-in-law, Arlene, Priscilla and Phyllis; and her devoted caregiver, Alex. She also leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength that will live on through her family forever. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 17 at 12:00pm at St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, Brosseau with Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil as the celebrant. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in St. Laurent Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brosseau at a later date.
