On June 13, 2012, Mr. Alcide Jean of St. Paul passed away at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucie, of 53 years; 2 sons & 1 daughter, Leo (Elfriede) Jean of Edmonton, Carmen Petryk of Edmonton & Hector Jean of St. Paul; 6 grandchildren, Michael (Deanna) Petryk, Melanie Petryk, Peter Petryk, Dustin Jean, Corey (Alisha) Jean & Melissa Jean; 3 great-grandchildren, Audrey & Jack Petryk, & Eli Malito; 2 brothers & 1 sister, Raymond Jean of Sherwood Park, Aurele (Denise) Jean of St. Paul & Annette (Alcide) Brault of Sherwood Park; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Doris; son-in-law, Orest Petryk; parents, Hector & Bernice; brother, Lionel; sister, Sally (Alex) Blanchette; parents-in-law, John & Angie Couture. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pauls Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Leonard Cadieux will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Bernard Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lafond.
