On July 7, 2012, Mr. Albert Whiskeyjack of Red Deer, formerly of Saddle Lake, passed away at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his sister, Josephine Cardinal of Saddle Lake; brother, Alex (Helen) Whiskeyjack of Saddle Lake; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Joshua & Mathilda; 3 brothers, James, Ben & Donald; 3 sisters, Jenny Paul, Regina Cardinal & Christine Daniels; adopted sister, Ida Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, July 14 & 15 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
